Societies and people build their lives using the idea of a Status, which is a social position that a person holds. One can obtain more than one status ,using sub status such as ascribed status which a person receives at birth or takes on involuntary later in life, for example , a widower ,or a teenager. An achieved status is described by using their personal ability to make an effort and achieve a personal goal and achievements such as honor student ,or competetive athlete. A status that has special importance for social identity ,usually shaping person s entire life .All status are important ,they each have their own personal value and achievments . One can determine a status on a everyday basis and can be identified within our society. Roles are also established within our society, children look up to parents and pupils with their teacher can also be categorized as a role within our developing society. All status and roles are taught or carried over and are established while growing from infacy to adulthood and so forth. Both men and women differ in their own perspective accordingly and show different sides of communication by using body language ,posture and emotions. An important form of communication and acknowledgement is by making eye contact with another person, this shows that one is paying attention and makes it a more personal interaction.Language is usually how comunication is established between people it is the most common form used by one another, although we have different languages people find ways to translate and get the messages across .During class ,humor was discussed between foreigners and locals, the joke would not be understood by foreigners because they wont understand the slang or understand the local sayings and might sound different to those who do now understand the lifestyle or language.

chapter 3
Human developement can be a sensitive growth experience ,as a child ,they grow with fthe feel of being held and cuddled with . They develop judgement on their behavior and feel good or bad at the age of three to four years .The sensorimotor stage is defined as the level of human developement at which individuals experience the world only through their senses, the first 2 years of life as infant is all based on touching ,tasting, smelling, looking, and listening . The next stage is the level of developement is which individuals begin to use symbols and languages. Next in the Piagets theory is the concrete operational stage which individuals first see casual connections in their surroundings . The formal operational stage is the last in Piagets theory ,the level of human development at which individuals think abstractly and critically.Meads theory on social self is the part of an individuals personality composed of self awarenessand self image.Development of the self is the learning totake the role ofothers ,infants for example ,mimicks the behavior of others withouth understanding why,and so at this point they have no self.To the children parents play as role models to them as significant others and are of special importance for socialization as a mommy and a daddy. They are growing in a culturally taught household ,between parents .Gender also plays a big part in what is being absorbed by an infant or child as they recognize the difference between the two genders.School and peer pressure begins at the teenage state, individuals or teens begin to want to fit in society and need the feel to be a part of something or and a group .
Society plays a role in this becasuse it shapes a self esteem and confidence to be able to socialize com, fortably and have a comfortness beteween one another ,thus allowing one to grow with society at the same pace .This gives an individual an idea of what to thinkbofthemselves

Symbols are usually used to give meaning to their own culture ,it carries a particular meaning recognized by people who share a culture. Language is the heart of a symbolic system,a system of symbols that allows people to communicate with one another. Language is passed on to each generation ,to express their cultural heritage.People can still communicate without speaking the same language but by realizing and understanding different culture and history. chapter 1
One can also carry on personal experiences and expanded awereness to develop a self taught form of sociological perspective within the individual.Sociological perspective helps us see the opportunities and obstacles within our lives,it helps us to live and understand a diverse world.
The society we live in has a lot to do with alot of our daily decisions, such as foods we eat ,clothes ,and music .Society has a huge impact on all lives ,different neighborhoods, and different countries.A global perspective studies society as a larger world, dividing and identifying different types of groups of people as a whole.Sociological perspective also contributes to setting guidelines for laws and policies. Sociological theory is defined as a statement of how and why specific facts are related .The Race-Conflict is a very important type of social conflict analysis ,which is a point of view that focuses on inequality and the conflict between people of different race and ethnic categories .Sveral methods are suggested to conduct a proper research survey and one should consider using the participant observation in which set investigators systemically observe people while joining them in their routine activities.
